This year (2024) marks the centenary of Friedmann's second cosmology paper. Yet, apart from Simon Mitton's mention of the importance of Friedmann's work in a recent book reviewed in the September issue of JAHH, very little has been published on Friedmann's cosmological model to mark the centennial. So here is a "thumbnail sketch" of Friedmann's model.
